Burn is a relative term when you're talking about a quasar. Hell, depending on where the ultimate explosion is directed,  life may freeze before it burns. Not to mention the effects of being knocked off orbit.

There's nothing green or environmentally conscious about shipping fossil fuels 4,000 miles.

Oh! Well then, we need to tell the Qld government and South Korea they're making a huge mistake, before it's too late!

I'll see if I can get their phone numbers for you. Thanks man!

Or you could stop acting like shipping fossil fuel from Aus is a good thing. Obviously we have no control over the capitalists in South Korea.

How about powering 'clean' electric vehicles made in coal powered chinese factories with electricity made from fossil fuels?

China has been outpacing most of the west with converting to renewables.

But that still doesn't make shipping hydrogen that is a byproduct of fossil fuels to South Korea from Australia any better.

Yeah but China is still the lead produced of greenhouse gasses and particularly unfiltered green house gases are they not?

Another red herring. The point is that shipping hydrogen from Australia to South Korea isn't a great idea. If you can dispute that then please do.

It is certainly counter-productive from a climate change activist perspective that's for sure.

I’ve tried explaining to you how it’s going to be shipped, how it’s going to be produced and how the first steps have been put in place like government agreements at Federal levels internationally.  The first step to any of this is getting the regulatory framework in place.
If you want to keep believing hydrogen is going to keep being produced via fossil fuels and shipped in heavy fuel oil burning ships go right ahead.
I’ll find the phone numbers for the Premier’s offices in South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, Queensland and New South Wales where Green Hydrogen investment is taking place and you can advise them that the public money they are and have been investing is a waste of time, ok?

Give me a call when more than 1% of all hydrogen is produced via green methods.

If you really investigate the actual science of energy, there is nuclear fission that has the energy density needed so we could actually move away from fossil fuels and then there is low IQ fantasy land.

Fission has already lost so the future is all about low IQ fantasy land. Since all the solutions of low IQ fantasy land are not going to work, the problem will keep getting worse and we will keep adding stricter useless solutions from low IQ fantasy land.

China hasn't done shit either but it is hard to blame them when all we have done in the US is ship our heavy industry to China. That is basically the US strategy. Shuffle the emitter around to pretend like we are doing anything that matters.

China emits less than half of the US per captia:

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

Do people really believe that CO2 emission reduction is going to stop the ending of the current ice age?
