That's awesome.
I'm really thinking about switching to bottle tek, to minimize my grow space. Very cool.

10/02/22 UPDATE:
Hi, everyone! Things are chugging along. A couple of the Oak Ridge bottles are producing a few fatties! There are still four bottles without top pins--I noticed those (mostly GTs) also have gigantic side pins--is this normal? 🤔 I worry that they're not liking the surface conditions so everything's trying to grow on the sides 😬
 1) All bottles this morning before the first mist; 2) our largest pins (all Oak Ridge); 3/4) two of the Golden Teacher bottles with no top pins but massive side pins (sorry for the lower-quality--shooting through the tub)

We want to! But we only have one light and one fruiting tub... Would we have to add perlite to the bottom? Would "cakes" and bottles both be okay growing together in the same tub? 🤔

😂 Awesome! Thank you both for the encouragement! We decided: Why not expand? We'll have perlite and another tub (and another light for good measure) by tomorrow! (We also got a Presto dehydrator!)
So, we're going to make it an SGFC and pop out the four that don't have top pins to fruit as cakes in there. Should we treat them just like PF Tek? 🤔

Yes, they work exactly like pf tek. You can fruit them any way you can fruit pf tek

Perfect, thank you! I realized, since there are so many pins already, we probably don't have to worry about rinsing them or rolling them in verm 😂 We're excited to get it all set up and will definitely be posting some pics tomorrow!

Oh, okay... I wasn't aware of these! So, an unmodified tub with coco coir in the bottom instead? 🤔

Okay, yeah! After some research last night, we decided to go for coir (and had it anyway because it's in the substrate ).
BIG update today! We pulled six out to fruit as cakes! We have them in our newly-made humidity chamber... They're already looking a bit dry on the surface. Do we mist them directly?
 1) Out new setup; 2/3) Cakes from the outside and inside; the back three are Golden Teachers, the front are two Oak Ridges and a B+; 4) the remaining bottles
We harvested the few pins that were on the tops (now bottoms) of the ones we flipped into cakes. We also had the first veil break on one in one of the Oak Ridge bottles! So we harvested that, as well They are all currently dehydrating in our new dehydrator!
 1) All the pins, a mix of all three varieties; 2) the only side pin we harvested from the sides of one of the cakes because it was already so big (Golden Teacher); 3/4) Our first broken veil! 2.8g wet / Good shot of the gills! (Oak Ridge)

10/04/22 UPDATE:
Everything's looking about the same today. We're wondering about all the side pins on the cakes (that have been smushed in the bottles until yesterday)... Should we give them time to grow out? Or should we harvest them and dunk the cakes, to kinda restart them for a second flush? 🤔 We're thinking that might be best because they seem to dry out quickly right now.

10/05/22 UPDATE:
We noticed some bruising at the bottom of the cakes, so we bottom-watered them yesterday and they've started to perk up more.

Because we haven't seen a ton going on with our bottles (and worried about them being too dry), we harvested the biggest fruits and then made another humidity chamber (although not truly one as the tub is modded) and pulled them out to fruit like cakes, as well! We didn't flip these upside-down, as they still had some top pins that we wanted to give a chance to grow. We also decided not to rinse off the verm first, but maybe we should have? We made a mess, haha...
