Shroomery Member Actual Trial Transcript
    #2790180 - 06/13/04 03:22 PM (19 years, 9 months ago)

SM = undisclosed shroomery member, witness to a crime
P = prosecutor

P: Did you see the defendant on the afternoon of June 6, 2003?

SM: What is time, but a human construct; merely an idea not grounded in reality.

P: Were you or were you not there?

SM: I am now where I always have been.

P: Have you ever seen the defendant?

SM: I acknowledge all of God's creatures.

P: Did you see the defendent steal Ms. X's purse?

SM: Ownership has no real meaning. Did not Ms. X get her wealth from her ancestors who stole Native American land and built their empire using slave labor?

P: Thank you for the history lesson, now if we may continue...

SM: Certainly. I am trying to help.

P: Did the defendant harm Ms. X?

SM: We are all part of the whole; how can one part harm another? It is just the karma balancing out.

P: Do you know what contempt is?

SM: If you were to practice meditation, you would be able to control your feelings of frustration.

P: If you were able to answer the FUCKING QUESTIONS!

Judge: Let's take a short recess at this juncture.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

lol. Yeah but people can find balance you know. The deepest people I know are among the people who are most down to earth with the greatest grip on reality and I think being deep/spiritual and down to earth go hand in hand.

I doubt there are people in this forum like what you are trying to make an example of. Maybe what spacedragon says is a bit "out there", but I have yet to witness someone who would actually talk like that under an investigation. Though I know you are exagurating, right?

This is true and I would agree, most of the time.

Spiritualism has an important place in our lives, but only if it serves a practical purpose here and now. While I acknowledge a reality greater than what I can usually percieve, it is a fact that we live in a reality that is consensual. To try to expand that reality with differing views and opinions is one thing, but to totally reject it and go against the flow of it is not efficient and not practical for conducting the affairs of daily living.

Much spiritualism is more concerned with after we die, particularly in the Christian mythos. So I guess it could be said most spiritualism concerns the future, though it is foolish to do this in my viewpoint.

i agree completely....

to me thats not spiritualism at all... its just being worried, or assuring yourself the future will be comfortable. and that assurance is just a fabrication for most, unfortunatly.

peace

If your worried about your future, work with your present.

One of my favourite aspects of spiritual practices such as meditation is that it works on your patience, your focus on the here and now etc.

What is a birthday? For every day of the year follows one another like the sun and the moon. I find it a foolish thing to celebrate a day you were born, year after year for the rest of ones life, how un divine.

BTW, I'm just kidding, congrats, how old are you turning?

I don't believe in birthdays either; just the attention and the goodies.

EEK! I will be 49 (and holding). I may be no Jimi Hendrix, Elvis nor Jim Morrison, but I sure look better than they do now.  :tongue2:

For those of you that think that is old, I will be betting $100 on a racquetball match when you come to Vegas. Beat the geezer; take the money. Simple.
