I'm nearly sure I see some bluing on the stem of this one. Spore print all of them. If the spore print is jet black then they're likely active Panaeolus.

yep. Jet black. Also dark brown can sort of appear to be black. don't be fooled use something jet black to see the difference.

The darker gilled ones look like active Pans I've found.

I don't think anyone has ever found a toxic Panaeolus. Other than the people that didn't enjoy themselves.:biggrin:

some of the ones I found bruised super blue on the stem base.

Alot of them began to bruise blue at the base of the stem after being picked.

I've been finding many bluing Panaeolus in the northeast recently. Cow manure rich pasture is where these were found.

these were growing in a public place in Olympia WA. in and around the downtown area im pretty sure there's alot there still I probably picked around one hundred of them. I don't think im allowed to give specific locations.
