method for grinding shrooms?

I hate eating shrooms. It's not really the taste so much as the texture... anyway, it seems like a good idea to grind them up fairly fine and then put them on a sandwich or in a drink or something. What do you use to grind mushrooms? A pepper grinder, or one of those handheld coffee grinders? I haven't got either one but they're cheap.

Coffee grinders work really well. My husband has an electronic one and it grinds the shrooms up powder-fine.

To make a powder I use a coffee grinder.

Or just put some in a zip lock bag and break it up. This is what I do most of the time and then throw it on a PB & Jelly sandwich. :thumbup:

I use my weed grinder. It doesn't make as fine a powder as a coffee grinder does though.

Yuck, I used my handheld weed grinder and it smelled like substrate and gross bottom bag mushroom powder. Heh, not I just snip them up with scissors and make very yummy tea.

I use a plastic bag, if they are dry enough you should be able to crumble them inside a plastic bag between you fingers.

I use a coffee grinder and then stuff the powder into capsules then swallow the capsules, no taste of mushrooms at all.

When you're finished grinding them up (and before if it's been used for coffee or spices), take some plain water crackers or bread crumbs and run them through the grinder, and then throw it out.

The bread or cracker crumbs will absorb any coffee oils or other spice oils. Easy as pie.

I use a coffee grinder. It has quite a bit of left over powder in it. I feel sorry for the poor sap that goes to make coffee....
