I don't get any of that but Nats do have an inherently sort of "cheerful" aspect to them IME. Still looking to do a truly large dose as I haven't hit my personal target yet (OEVs on the comeup), probably tomorrow will be trying 4 to 4.5g equivalent as tea from fruits picked closer to their pick. I think some of the tea I made was from overripe fruits and 3.5g equiv of that was still at the 2.5g level I'd been doing.

If these colonize I’ll take 2 to bulk and 2 to g2g.
The agar plate:

And in the last 3 days they kept growing. The mycelium is spreading through the jars. I’m excited I took the chance on this feeble looking agar plate. I’ll take 2 jars to shoeboxes and 2 jars to inoculate 20 more when they’re colonized. I can’t wait to try these!

Howdy y'all. You're doing the lords work!!!
I read the whole thread some time back when it was about half the size it is now, and just re-read the entire thread. Exciting stuff.
I don't have enough posts to go to marketplace so I got a couple nat swabs from a non-endorsed vendor and put them to agar a couple days ago. Waiting on germination and enjoying the pics of all the different phenos coming out of your work.
I'll report what comes of my spores here.
Thanks for all the work you have all done to this point!

Lol... impending doom the world ending! Shit reminds me of the time this rookie ate too much mescaline and decided to get nakid and hide in the bushes after a good scuffle with his mom, then seen a cop and ran up to him butt nakid demanding a helicopter cuz the world was bout to end and aparently being airborn was a good thing, true story xD but ya idk over the years ive had chance to try many species of active mushrooms and they all seem to have their unique qualities. So far natalensis has quickly become my favored species due to the uplifting overtone that accompanies the journey. Its all good medicine tho and ill still utilize all the tools in the box to build something magnificient of the moments ive been blessed with.

Idk what’s up with that but I’ve had the same thing happen with other species. Weak wispy agar culture that explodes on grain.

curious to hear more about your findings.
edit: just because i mentioned the term "impending doom" in context with cubensis. this is not my term, it was Terence McKenna iirc, but as a recent experience was the perfect display of the picture he painted i was mentioning it to see if there is resonance. that's all

Haha ya well ive certainly experienced the fear or introspective hard look in the mirror on cubes more than on other species. -------- So the otherday my wife was all excited her scorpion plants are getting peppers and mentioned that there had been a big thunderstorm just before which clicked in my mind the last two thunderstorms seemed to be followed by stuff pinning... i googled the phenomena and found this "During a lightning strike, there is enough electrical energy to separate the Nitrogen atoms in the air. Once separated, they fall to the Earth and combine with minerals in the soil to form Nitrates that help plants grow". Now ive always wanted a tesla coil just cuz who dont wanna be able to make lightning bolts right? Now im thinking tho.... maybe this might be something cool to test with?

that happened to me a couple weeks ago.. glad you were just getting home from work and able to enjoy it, not headed to work. Luckily I was also able to just sit back and enjoy it.. idk how it would feel having a situation like that when you've got some important obligations to take care of.
