I was wondering how some of you keep track of what cake is what strain (considering they are all in the same chamber) and how many times certain cakes were flushed ?

while strictly speaking, your question doesn't apply to me as i don't work with the pf tek anymore, i keep track of my casings by only putting a few (each of the same strain) in a terrarium after all, perilite and a rubbermaid costs like $5 but when i was an anal retentive newb i kept a log on some paper of each jar (which i had numbered) and it's flushes, dried weight, date from colonization, etc. i have since stopped caring so goddamn much i hope this gives you whatever answers you were looking for

Not when its already done, my other chamber is organized, but the 1st one is all random and shit, it fruits very very nicely right now, I just wanna know what I eat, as a matter of fact I just harvested about 2 8ths of what I think is EQ.

Basically, you just have to take steps when you begin the grow that help you facilitate this. AFOAF does this: All cakes are marked at the time of innoculation with a magic marker on the top of the jar. Strain name (usually a TLA -- like CRP, AFR, etc), the date of innoculation, and a unique number within that strain and date. (IE, CRP 1/20 1, CRP 1/20 2, etc.) The terrarium is marked with the left and right sides labeled as such. With these references, a map is made when the cakes actually go into the terrarium. It might look like this: CRP1 CRP2 CRP3 AFR1 AFR2 AFR3 L---------------------------------R CRP4 CRP5 CRP6 AFR4 AFR5 AFR6 After that, you just keep track of shit with a grow log. You might have entries like "2/3/04 CRP3 removed due to green contam, 12g wet AFR2, 18g AFR4".... The hardest part is keeping them straight when you're dunking, if you don't dunk them in the original jars. Basically, you just have to be a bit anal, keep notes, and segregate your harvests when drying and storing.

As to the disoganized chamber...well, there's not much that you can do to figure out what's what, unless you've got strains of shrooms that're significantly different in their morphology. (AFOAF found it was -very- easy to tell the CRP and AFRs apart -- CRPs gave big shrooms, and the AFRs gave billions of little ones.)

My 1st chamber (the messed up and shit) got B+, EQ & PB ... and I think I can tell the EQ apart, but the other 2 I have no clue, last night I took 3.5 dry g of I DONT KNOW WHAT and I was tripping so hard, had mad visuals, and peaked for about 4-5 hours with very intense visuals, and now I dont know wtf it was!
