I bought around 5k-7k worth of crypto (all of my savings) within a pretty short period after the 2020 corona crash Needless to say it was a pretty good entry, and in may 2021 it was just peeking over 80k, of course the greed got to me and I was just waiting for that 100k mark, and then it crashed. Although I did take out 10k so at least I got my money back. Still holding the rest, but damn I could use some of that money right now.

I never understood people who don't cash out when they hit 8-10x what their investment was. I'm happy just to double my money.
It's essentially gambling when something is peaking in price and you're thinking "lemme just wait a few more days it'll go a bit higher.
Really what's the difference between 80k and 100k?
It's a trick question, the answer is 20k
They will both improve your life about equally tho

What if you're in it for the long term? It could be stupid to sell then, when in 5 more years it could be worth 50x your original investment. There could be some serious regret there if it doesn't dip when you want it to so you could invest again.

Yeah that’s the thing, I’m still super bullish on things for the long term and I wouldn’t even have got to that 80k point if I sold early on, there was many runs and crashes that I held through, just hard to tell if it’s the peak or not

Keep holding man, I think crypto is gonna decouple from the regular financial markets and go much higher in the long term.
Look at today, another rate hike by the fed happened or is looming (not sure the timing) and BTC/ETH is going... UP?!

Definitely still holding, wouldn’t even feel worth it to sell at these prices when I could’ve sold way higher. And on the bright side I stuffed a big bag of Chainlink at these prices

Wish I had added more ETH when it was 1k but everyone was freaking out then and I didn't know if it was gonna drop to half that!
