Something old, something new...

I've had my eye on this for a while now.  For our anniversary my wife gave it to me as a gift.  She rocks!!

Sony DSC-F828 digital camera

I never realized how hard it was for a camera to take a picture of itself!!  I had to use 2 mirrors to get the angle and then shoot under un-natural, low light conditions without the flash.  And on top of it I was trying to learn the camera controls! So its not the best picture.

Then on the same day I was given another gift by a friend...

I'm not even sure how old this thing is but there is still a specialty shop in town where you can get the film (8mm movie film) and send it off for developing.  I think I might shoot some old-style movies just for fun!

So I got 2 new toys to play with now! :laugh:

and that's one high tech video camera...that must have just been released.

Dude that video cam looks awesome. I would love to play with an old school cam!

yeah, i'd love to play with that 8mm...i think i have some films in that format from when i was a kid. lol
