There must be something off-putting about killing innocent children or maybe it loses its novelty after a dozen times. Maybe the adrenaline crash makes you loose your will after 30 minutes or maybe the experience is so intense it tends to disorient people. I'll never know.
But it's probably all these factors, combined.

Ive been thinking that was the case.
Its too psychopathic for normal people to talk about. But literally..... what if even a psycho loser killer gets frustrated after a few kills? Like they cant do it any more?
I think maybe youre right? I'd be interested to see more into the psyche of this fucking losers.

I've thought about this too but it's probably not as easy as you're imagining.
The absolute deadliest single-attacker shooting in US history was a near-perfect scenario from a mass murderer's perspective (so much so, that people consider the most likely motive to have been "setting a high score"). He killed 60 people. The only way that you could realistically exceed that with guns would be eliminating the ability for people to get out of your range. We saw this in 2011 when the Oslo terrorist deliberately targeted people on an island. They were unable to escape and he killed 67, higher than the Vegas shooter.
I think that the real reason mass shooting numbers are often pretty low, though, is that people who do these kinds of things aren't in their right mind. Even if they're rational enough to make preparations, write manifestos and plan attacks, they're not all there. They're delusional and unrealistic.
On a slightly comical note to drive that point home, consider that coward that did the Wal-Mart massacre in El Paso. In his manifesto, he was playing soldier. He said something to the effect of: "I'll keep ammunition to be sure I can kill myself before I'm captured. They won't take me alive." When he was actually on the ground, he didn't feel so brave. There is footage of him hopping out of his car and practically running to the police to turn himself in, which is absolutely hilarious to me.
