I consumed 40 grams fresh of these this morning (in tea form) and that wasn't very strong. It was pleasant, but I defo need more with these.

I still haven't had a meaningful experience with Nats (I'm upping the dose each trip), but I have to say that there is no anxiety whatsoever with these so far. It's non-existent on the body: I don't feel like I've poisoned myself like I can feel at the beginning of a trip sometimes; no stomach discomfort. They feel really "gentle" on the body & the mind.

I'm looking forward to my next trip with them.

It's weird how much the potency of these seems to vary, I can't even handle high doses of cubes but with nats I seem to need more. Or at least be able to handle more and have a much better experience. I had two really good trips with these, one 5g dried and the last one 8g.  Hopefully you can find your sweet spot cause they can get really amazing!

It sure seems to.  I've had two full trips on them, from tea made from fresh fruits but the equivalent of 2 and 2.5 g dried, and I'd hesitate to move much above 3-3.5 for the next one.

The awesomeness is strong with these. :yoda2:

A little over a month old, 3lb bag of brown rice and pearled barley that is forming blotches. The blotches are a mm or so thick and seem rather solid to the poke. It is MS and being kept in a file box so, minimal lighting and FAE.

I had a set of brf cakes that got the same tan colored blotches, to me they looked kinda like sclerotia but when i birthed them the entire cake was encased in a dense tissue (i think a condensed version of the overlay due to contraints of jar size) i peeled the tissue from 4 of 7 jars (sadly they didnt recover from being stripped) and consumed 1 gram each with my wife, was surprised by how active it was.

Well, my charcoal agar plates have failed to inspire me, but they all do the same thing. I’m 100% sure it’s not contamination, but the wispiest mycelium ever. It’s almost impossible to photograph, but this is an inoculation plate with one drop from a MSS. In person it looks clean, just really thin weak mycelium.

I’m going to experiment with new agar recipes and restarting from spores, but this plate grew out clean looking. No obvious visible contaminants. So I sliced it up into quarters and dropped it into 4 quart jars of milo. Let’s see if this stuff can find some life in the grain.

Idk yet. I intend to go for it after coffee.
What would that mean if they are hollow?

Yeah I think I should start over with these. See if I find a tomentose culture this time. I automatically went with rhizo but seems with these that's not what I need.
Not interested in trying the mycelium mat at all tbh. Looks disgusting.
Well we have a fruit to clone so I'll do that anyway bc otherwise this whole grow is a total waste of energy.

A tub full of hollow stipes is gonna suck ass when it's dried.

Also, tomentose or rhizo is absolutely irrelevant to whether you get an overlaying culture or not.

Majority of my Natalensis has been extremely aggressive rhizomorphic growth, with no overlay.

Genetic lottery.

I would probably start from spore again anyhow. I don't think cloning fruits from an overlaying culture is necessarily gonna give you a much better pinset.

Thanks for the info Guerilla!

It was a solid fruit so I did clone it just to have something out of this effort at all. Already threw the culture in the bin.

Will try again soon!
