I just wrote a mail to the Royal Dutch Mint

I just wrote a mail to the Royal Dutch Mint where i recommended them to mint an annual edition of the Ducat and the Double Ducat, centuries old coins sttill minted today, as a circulation coin and circulate it, either in capsules or better, the credit card model at a bullion coin rate, rather than as a collecters item, so make our centuries old trade coin a bullion coin again.
There is a market for a small gold bullion coin at an attractive price.
The Ducat is 3.43gr fine. the Double Ducat 6.86gr
If it was good in the paast its still good:

That would be a good thing :P
What also would be a good thing, with a tanking euro, is to alert the population to owning gold bullion.

I agree!
Back in the 90s we had a school project where we had to write a business a paper letter inquiring or commenting on something about them.
I wrote to Red Lobster, an American seafood chain restaurant. They sent back a, $25 gift card.
But a fair amount has changed even from 25 years ago

Thats a thing i can recommend in general, contacting businesses if something noteworthy is up.
Like, complaining to a vegetable juice manufacturere that their otherwise fantastic product was spoiled for many by addition of 1% salt, which is a kidney nightmare for a beverage.

That's honestly a great marketing move by the Red Lobster crew, as I'm pretty sure you probably got your family and/or friends to hit up the restaurant, where your collective spend still pushed into the profit zone for the restaurant, despite the $25 gift they extended. And if it turns out you never went or didn't use the gift card, they spent nothing and yet, here you are, 25 years later, still posting a good word for their business!
I recall similar experiences from my youth in the 80's and 90's. Things were more personal, often because companies/corporations were (at least a bit) smaller and the customer service teams were more involved with management than today's world of outsourcing to the farthest reaches (and cheapest labor regions) of the globe where there is no leeway for that sort of custom promotion, and the underlings almost invariably must follow a predetermined script for action - or in most cases, inaction.

Asante, if you successfully get them to mint that coin, I WANT ONE! Simply beautiful.

They are minting it numismatically, but if you hit up a Dutch bullion dealer you can often get them very close to spot.
What i suggested to them is to, aside from the numismatic edition of highest quality coins, strike a larger number in lower circulation quality for use as a bullion coin.
