Fans headed to Bonnaroo busted for illegal drugs

Thousands of music fans are heading to Coffee County this week for the big Bonnaroo Music Festival. But for one set of fans, the fun ended before the music began when they were arrested in a big drug bust.
Five people headed to Bonnaroo from Colorado were riding in a rented motor home when they were pulled over in Montgomery County on a traffic stop.
A search of the vehicle turned up a quite a few illegal surprises.
"They found several items of drug paraphernalia from bongs to scales. They found approxamately a pound of marijuana, several grams of cocaine, powdered cocaine, about a hundred hits of ecstacy, and some mushrooms," said Sgt. John Smith, Montgomery County Sheriff's Department.
Three young adults were arrested and charged with drug possession. One was charged with driving under the influence.
The sheriff's department says they confiscated between $8,000 - $10,000 worth of illegal drugs.

Do cops ever post a figure for drugs thats not inflated?
seriously, and you'd think one of these "journalists" would at least point this out. But no. The masses need to be lied to.

Um...are you guys serious?
1 Pound Marijuana (probably HQ) - @$300/oz = $4800
Several grams of coke - @$60/g = ~$180
Powdered cocaine - No telling how much
100 x pills - @$15/pill = $1500
and unknown quantity of Mushrooms
4800+180+1500+x+y=
$6480 + x+ y
Thats at least $6000 before the powdered cocaine and mushrooms are calculated. No where near as exaggerated as most figures.

DUI, Probably Speeding, Only stupidity will get you busted when it comes to Bonnaroo. When travelling in be sober, have your shit stashed, and above all, don't speed.

the cops took my chiilum and 2 sacks of weed from my friend, they were searching cars at the bonnaroo tollbooths.
my chilum had only had salvia smoked out of it, and i told them to test it on site because i wanted it back. but they said that i had to either gewt a ticket and go to court, or give it up. so i gavce it up
they had giant rumermaids full of bongs and weed and other shit.
my buddy is apparently on probation in tennesee for like a year or some bullshit and has to pay a fine.
