Anyone here experienced the simpsons on shrooms or other psychedelics?
I have a couple times, and jsut recently read posts of other people experiencing the presence of Simpson family memebers...
Is it just me, or is there a universal connection between The Simpsons and tripping?

The writers behind the simpsons must be some of the more intelligent, witty, and together people alive right now. That show entertains, but behind it all, it puts out a steady stream of TRUTH. Thats the connection between the simpsons and tripping, both reveal truth.
Since I stopped watching star trek the next generation around 6th grade, the simpsons is the ONLY show I've watched from week to week. Those guys are amazing.

Wow, Noviseer, my thoughts exactly!
Me and a friend watched 3 hours of it once while trippin, we were ROFL at every joke but the straight people there were looking at us like we were crazy scum but we so didn't give a fuck!

t.v+trippin= waste of time. go out, and get lost in nature. it will be infinately more rewarding than hooking up into the mindcontroll box.
just my opinion of course. Sometimes, mabey on a low dose T.V. might be exceptable.

I agree completely... sitting around watching tv on any drug is a complete waste of time except in a few situations. Maybe a half an hour of your favorite television show or if you have a real mind fuck of a movie you want to watch. But there are still better things to do with your time.

I remember my friend let me borrow the 2nd season on DVD so I was watching Simpsons everyday, usually 2 or 3 episodes at one sitting. Then one night I decided to trip alone and I kept on seeing mocking faces of Patty and Selma... really freaked me the fuck out! I told myself I'd never watch the SImpsons again lol. well, that didn't last long but at the time I thought the Simpsons's characters were the ugliest things I have ever seen.

Mad Tv is cool when your on pot. I havent watched it on anything else, But i laughed at every joke it was like the show was made for people people that are high it was really weird.

Do what makes you happy. Television is not that bad. If you never watch television then you may also be missing out on something. You anti tv types are just as silly as those people that think radio waves are responsible for cancer. Television is a part of our culture like it or not, running in the woods naked and watching television are both great experiences on mind opening substances., You are not a better or more spiritual person by doing either of these activities. Just enjoy everything!

If i have to watch something, ill either watch the Complete Masterworks of Tenacious D DVD or Something mellow like Dazed and Confused.
I agree with alot everyone said above about the nature thing, you can appreciate the world around on a much deeper level and there isnt anything much better than that..

Homer licked a toad once.
Marged walked into their kitchen and everthing was "wavy" one time.
Bart had colors and visions on some drug, can't remember.
Oh, and even Flanders halluciated one time, can't remember what it was...oh wait - PEYOTE in the juice! yeah...love that one.
Anyway - I love that show and definately agree - the writers MUST be trippers.

I saw The Simpsons the other day and Bart & Lisa went to Duff Land or whatever, and Lisa drank the water and startin tripping "I hear colors and see sounds" with her little hands trailing.

Homer on weed, homer on insanity peppers and everyone on peyote have to be the 3 best episodes! :-)
I was (high and) laughing at every single fucking frame once when I was watching the one where Homer and Marge get kinky (in the barn, at crazy/mini golf course, in the B&B etc.) LOL "oh, it's a donkey" <- I never laughed at that much when I saw it before but when I was stoned it was just so fucking funny!

I used to eat LSD and watch countless episodes of the simpsons. Twas fun. Most TV while on lsd or mushrooms seems cheesy and fake.. to an extreme level, way more than normal. Simpsons has always been enjoyable and almost wittier.

I was tripping and who wants to be a millionaire came on, and the show made me so angry (because it's so fucktarded) that I almost started screaming and making a scene. The host didn't even know what Wales was when one of the contestants was from there.

Wehn i was tripping once i switched on the tellie and saw the Big Brother up late bullshit and found it hillarious how baggy the eyes of the host were, how tired and bored he looked. I was thinkin "dude you're such a wanker get some f*cking sleep!"
i always knew tv was fake and is bullshit but on mushrooms it seems to excentuate(sp?) the fact even moreso. Still was trippy to watch though!

I watched the Futurama episode where they went into Fry's body when I was on an 1/8th..talk about cool as well as confusing. I was just laughing in awe the whole time.

i tripped last nitght and i couldn't make a decision for anything. first i was watching rules of attraction but it sucked or was just too confusing so i out in sherk which was really funny but i couldn't stay sitting down long enough to watch it. i just kept walking around saying wow and oh my god i didn't know so i went outside and natue was awesome because it stayed still but i still wasn't sure what i wanted to do. sorry no point to this post except i really don't think i would be able to focus on the simpsons i could barely focus on nature and it was standing still. any tips on how to focus on something???

I watched Simpsons on blue gels once... it was really strange in that all the characters only seemed to have one eyeball, and the other was sort of a black spot of nothing melting out of their face.
