Let's see how far we've come in our understanding of what constitutes a human life.

So do you also support euthanizing those who don't have their shit together?

Cells taken from my body can be cultured in a petri dish. Thus, they would be human and alive. They would be human life. They are not dead and they are human.

For the purposes of this discussion, we're defining human life as an individual with the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Are you implying that a cloned human being would not be an individual with the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?

Not at all. The question was posed in regards to natural conception. I would consider any test tube to represent the mother if considering a test tube baby.

A human life is not the same as a person. I guess you meant to say a person in your OP.
Who grants those rights to the individual? Does a brain dead human has such rights? Or why are they then disconnected from life support?

I voted for ability to survive outside the womb. However for many hundred years if not more, it was considered acceptable to terminate a pregnancy before the mother felt movement.

Probably best to just say right to life and forget the liberty and pursuit of happiness. The last two don't even apply in theory, till you're an adult.

Its reaklly very simple. Two shroom spores grow out, the growths touch, combine genetics and dikaryotic tissue ensues: the genetic identity of the mushroom now is established.
When the sperm enters the egg and their genetics combine, that zygote is the single cellular version of that person.
it starts there. If you dont mess with that, yopu get a shroom or a baby

Uncle Clarence should have some statement about masturbation any day now. If you multiply the number of guys jerking off in a day by the number of sperm, the waste of life is staggering.

Define baby.
Because most adults are babies by behavior and action.
