Are .22 Rim Shot Antiques and Indoor Flobert Pistols Legal, non-ATF?
    #27864536 - 07/16/22 08:44 AM (1 year, 6 months ago)

For example, I can get very high caliber pellet guns; and I can purchase tons of .22 short, for what I consider acceptable prices, if I re-load myself. If possible.

Can uh, "drug addicts" or "collectors" safely have these delivered to their homes? Or must I build one my own, because that is 100% covered by the constitution.

I just really don't want any fuzz about having a handgun designed only for .22 shorts being delivered to my apartment in a state that's strict on "handguns", meaning fully auto concealed cary unlecensed 9 mils everyone has with 36 bullet mags and catchers with the rifle but-stock extensions; they require ballistics and stuff and it's wild.

I did win the auction, I'll try my best to persuade them to send me my "gallery gun"

My understanding is that you should not shoot modern cb/short .22 out of those old parlor guns as the modern round will produce much higher pressures than the old "caps" and the low quality metal they were made out of will potentially fail.

Why not just build a ghost gun? Or purchase a highpower pcp airgun?

As for the legality question if it was made before 1898 are legal to own and transfer federally without a license or backgroud check, however your state may have additional laws so please double check. Same with ghost guns, while federally legal for a little while longer some states have their own laws

I write my office of attourney general regarding any ghost guns I intend to manufacture, and hopefully, register, perhaps with intent to sell, down the line. But yeah, I'm big into the uh, toys, so I'll try pulling a string and fortifying it a bit before.. playing. Thanks for the input though, I'll treasure your response always.

You can't sell ghost guns, without a certain class of ffl selling a gun you construct is illegal.

You can legally as of right now buy an 80% lower and complete the manufacturing process yourself then add off the shelf components to have a complete off the books gun, unless barred by state law, or federally barred from owning a gun otherwise. You can not sell or transfer this gun under any circumstances and the frame should be destroyed when you die.

If you don't have an FFL firearms can't be shipped to you legally. You have to have it sent to a FFL then pick up. Serialized or not. You can order parts but even lower receivers are considered firearms by the government and require FFL transfer.

Thanks, TheDirtFarmer; I mean, it's a parlor gun.. so.. I think I'll just try to get it shipped to me, even if it ends in some silly warrant, and a pissed off judge who gets some stuck up idiot bugging him over something that isn't even relevant.. at some weird hour... every night... for the past few weeks... have been really taxing on us adults, in my neck of the woods.

Think puppies, not wolves.

...I'm not suggesting we take bribes, or give them to nosey noodles who get their noses in the wrong persons ass hole. In fact, I've been contemplating...
