The ignore feature

Its not robust enough.
I recently put a user on ignore to de escilate a conflict only to find they were still able to leave me a rating and with the edit feature of the rating system its now turning into a conflict. The very thing i was trying to avoid.
This seems like a communication loophole that should be looked at.

Yet you continue to respond.
You reported the rating as you feel it is not fair/true. We are looking at it.
Blocking people from rating others by using the ignore function can easily be abused. The report rating function is there to stop abuse of the ratings system.

What Northerner said is true, we don't want to allow users to use the ignore feature to selectively block ratings commentary. The rating you have reported was left as a General Rating and reflects another member's opinion of you. It doesn't indicate any trade took place, but the member clearly took issue with the general way in which you referred to or alluded to his location on the forums, regardless of how you knew it or if you were perhaps just taking a stab in the dark. Had the rating been left as a Trade Rating and no indication of an attempted trade could be produced, we would have removed it. But that's not the case here, and by design, you were given the opportunity to respond directly to the rating on your ratings wall in your defense, which you have done.
I see that you have reported this rating to us for review a couple of times, but I do not see any action that needs to be taken. If you truly can't handle the rating, you either need to work it out with the member who left it, in hopes they may change or remove it, or you can opt out of the ratings system entirely. Just keep in mind that opting out is a one-time option, so make sure it is in fact what you would like to do.

Tip: You can also opt out of seeing the mushroom rating icons by blocking the following URL with your ad blocker:
