Staring deeply into an infants eyes... wow

is almost a holy experience, I think. I went to the grocery store this morning, and in line there was a very young baby, maybe only a few months old, laying down in his little carry-thingie. He had the most expressive face, and the most beautiful blue eyes I think I've ever seen.
I remembered that babies that young are composed of almost pure awareness, and I started thinking about a few trips I've had, where I've felt new, and reborn, and most infantile. I started feeling like I had a strong connection with that young baby.
So I just stared deeply into that baby's eyes, thinking thoughts of warmth and kinship towards him, how precious and important that he was, what a perfect vassel of miraculous existence that he was, wishing him well on his lifetime journey. To my delight, he got this huge smile on his face, and started making cooing sounds towards me, and I knew that possibly my vibes had reached him. The mother didn't even know that all this was going on, but I felt that it was most profound.
True, skeptics will pass the baby's reaction off to merely gas, or maybe that he was reacting pleasantly to the expression in my face.
I think it was quite an amazing experience nonetheless. I feel so happy right now.

You would make a good mama or aunty or babysitter! Kids indeed pick up on your vibes, especially at a young age. I have shared many dreams with my kids- they share your conciousness.

Babies are the best, they haven't been tainted by the world yet. They don't know what they "cannot do", they're free. (not in a monetarial sense, )

Well, I can't necessarily deny that
But I have alot of things to do before I decide to have a child.
That experience in the grocery store today does rank up there as one of the most awesome things ever.

There is a mormon sect that are polygamist but the "official church" has disassociated itself from them. Apparently, when it started to ruffle some feathers, God told the prophet that polygamy was no longer appropriate "on Earth", but when a proper mormon man goest to the celestial kingdom after his Earthly life, he can have as many wives as he wants. Lucky him.

That's so cool!
I remember one time I was at a hockey game & there was a woman with a baby in the seat in front of me. She had the kid over her shoulder so he was facing me and I spent most of the game looking at him, making him laugh & smile much like you described. I wasn't making funny faces or anything like that, I was just full of positive vibes that night and I swear the baby picked up on it. It really is an amazing experience when it happens.

Babies are amazing. I working for a semester in an infant room at my college as a requirement for my teaching degree. I used to sit there while I was feeding them and try and figure what they were thinking. My bf says it fueled my "baby lust" as he calls it.

i love kids...they are so innocent. And i just get a kick out of playing with them, it's so fun. My oldest little brother, i remember i made him laugh for the first time, but he didn't just laugh, he was CRACKING UP and i kept doing what was funny (he was taking a bath and i would drop the shampoo bottle into the tub and say "oops") and he would laugh harder and harder and it felt really good.
At my moms house, the whole street is loaded with little kids and if i'm not doing anything and i see some kids are outside sometimes i'll go out and goof around with them...a lot of their parents think i'm really great, cause i will occasionally watch their kids for small amounts of time (i'm not like their babysitter, like if a mom needs to go to the store quick and just ask me to play with them for 10 minutes)
I also loves a little kid's creativeness and stuff, they can think of the wackiest most bizarre funny things!
I'm not even close to ready to being a father, but i'm excited to have kids. I want to have 2, no more then 3.

I don't think it costs much more after the 1st of each sex(hand me downs) but college will be pricey, so teach them well and they will go 4 free!
