Not that i care to defend him, but hes not a senator just a candidate for lieutenant governor and he only nodded in agreement when pressed by moderators then took it back the next day.

Idaho state senator proposes death penalty for women seeking abortions.

abortion is murder, but putting women to death is, apparently, not.

Lol if you and the others actually read this ancient article you would know that he didn't propose the death penalty for having an abortion but apparently nodded in agreement and then took it back. Apparently he didn't propose or agree to it but none of you got past the headline

After news of his controversial statement broke, Nonini and his campaign seemed to be scrambling.

looks like he admitted more than he ment to at the time. did you even read the article? he said only doctors are punished why not the women?

Honestly how the fuck are you a moderator? The whole article was dishonest. It wasn't his statement. His statement was if women faced prosecution for having an abortion it would dramatically reduce abortions. He didn't actually say or confirm there should be a death penalty for having an abortion. But ya lets circle jerk around some fake news from 4 years ago

Ok, well whether he meant it or not it was 4 years ago and it didn't gain any traction. The guy just posted it because he knew the headline was shocking and knew most guys wouldn't click and read it. He just wanted to rile people up and thats why i felt i should point out it was fake news or at best dishonest news

WTF is wrong with this country when a school shooting is overshadowed by my daughters  uterus?
Now some bearded  Yall’queda wants checkpoints at state lines looking for pregnant women. Forget about automatic assault weapons the real problem is women with a tragic healthcare situations seeking solutions.
What’s next sharia law ? What happened to American being a free nation?
Now my daughter if raped has to carry her attackers child to term. Will they make the attacker be a good dad ? Will there be greater penalties for deadbeat dads?
If a woman has a stillborn now she’s facing murder charges and still has to carry to term making a tragic situation worse.  An IUD now makes you a mass murderer. How many politicians are medical doctors? How can they make healthcare decisions from Washington? What happened to the seperation of church and state? What happened to America ?
Rise up and vote people we get the government we deserve and the fact nobody participates shows by the greedy thieving politicians and the dilapidated state of our nation.
I love this country , but I’m ashamed of the weak corrupt leadership. Both Rep’s and Dem’s should be ashamed. I personally don’t feel my interest have been represented at all and rarely have.
Term limits for Supreme Court justices would be a good start let’s start a petition. How about disallowed stock trading for lawmakers that influence finance policies of publicly traded companies holding government contracts?
Nope instead let’s make guns as readily available as food and make women’s uterus’s illegal !! That’s the direction we’re now  headed .
REALLY AMERICA we can do better.

What are you talking about. There's no laws that say using an iud makes you a mass murderer, nor is anyone trying to make that so. Nor is anyone trying to make having a stillborn a murder charge.

You have a misconception of what seperation of church and state is. Seperation of church and state means that the literal church,, like the vatican, can't collude and co rule with the government.

Nowhere in that idea is the claim that people aren't supposed to vote based on what they believe to be true. That's literally the same thing secular people are doing.

What's wrong with making guns readily available to law abiding citizens? It's our responsibility to safeguard our way of life and our communities. That takes armed citizens. You'd think after 15 cops sat by and listened to 50 kids getting shot last month you'd want more people to have guns, because we obviously can't rely on the government to protect us.

I really don't see how not allowing women to murder their own offspring is somehow a horrible thing. You referenced rape etc, but things like rape and incest are a fractional minority of the abortions performed.

I'm not saying it's good or easy, but in all honesty, is murdering a baby right just because the girl was raped? Especially when we have easy access to things like the morning after pill.

And if she did carry a rape baby to term, we have systems in place where she can hand it off the moment it's born. Hell, you can abandon a baby at a fire station, no questions asked.

This post is really borderline hysterical and some of the things you say here are so nonsensical I seriously wonder if you actually believe what you're saying or if you're just trying to whip people up in a frenzy over the issue.

If it's the latter you're going to push away anyone that can think and invite only the emotionally unstable crazies to your side.

There are lawmakers claiming that certain borth control methods are abortifacients, like Plan B and paragard, because they MAY also prevent implantation. That's not a new thing; there are lawmakers and members of Congress that want to outlaw these methods of contraception.

https://nwlc.org/resource/dont-be-fooled-birth-control-is-already-at-risk/

The hobby lobby supreme court case was about this very thing- the company was refusing to cover IUDs as birth control for its employees under their insurance policy because they falsely claimed they "cause abortions."

So because hobby lobby said something 4 years ago because they didn't want to pay for contraceptives, therefore that is, not only the mainstream movement and opinion, its also OK to conflate that with the Supreme Court deciding its not the federal governments job to guarantee abortions as a right??

This is still an obvious attempt to justify hysterics by using extreme fringe positions that are barely represented in our society if it can be argued they're represented at all.

What you're doing, at its core, is dishonest.

Hobby Lobby is a Supreme Court case that carved out a religious exemption for providing contraception in healthcare plans.

Doesn't mean it's not a puppet account, and I've given two sources to your zero, despite you chiming in to accuse another user of hysterics while making multiple false statements you failed to bolster yourself.
