Forced birth * 6
    #27837143 - 06/26/22 07:38 AM (1 year, 10 months ago)

WTF is wrong with this country when a school shooting is overshadowed by my daughters  uterus?
Now some bearded  Yall’queda wants checkpoints at state lines looking for pregnant women. Forget about automatic assault weapons the real problem is women with a tragic healthcare situations seeking solutions.
What’s next sharia law ? What happened to American being a free nation?
Now my daughter if raped has to carry her attackers child to term. Will they make the attacker be a good dad ? Will there be greater penalties for deadbeat dads?
If a woman has a stillborn now she’s facing murder charges and still has to carry to term making a tragic situation worse.  An IUD now makes you a mass murderer. How many politicians are medical doctors? How can they make healthcare decisions from Washington? What happened to the seperation of church and state? What happened to America ?
Rise up and vote people we get the government we deserve and the fact nobody participates shows by the greedy thieving politicians and the dilapidated state of our nation.
I love this country , but I’m ashamed of the weak corrupt leadership. Both Rep’s and Dem’s should be ashamed. I personally don’t feel my interest have been represented at all and rarely have.
Term limits for Supreme Court justices would be a good start let’s start a petition. How about disallowed stock trading for lawmakers that influence finance policies of publicly traded companies holding government contracts?
Nope instead let’s make guns as readily available as food and make women’s uterus’s illegal !! That’s the direction we’re now  headed .
REALLY AMERICA we can do better.

Mod Edit: flame removed.  Personal attacks are not tolerated in political discussion. If you can't limit yourself to attacking opposing positions and opinions then you will be limited from participating at all

Hartford,

Perhaps you can voice your opinion without insulting other users.

Do you think abortion should be completely banned in all cases?

Are you prepared to become a adoptee parent for all of the children that will spend their lives in foster homes as a result of their parents being forced to have them?

Are you going to provide the families that are forced to have children the funds needed to secure a healthy childhood?

Seems like your argument is that everyone should practice abstinence or at least use contraceptives.  I agree that people not ready to have children should be careful when doing the nasty, but accidents are going to happen.

You think that these people should be forced to birth these children even if that means they will grow up in an unhealthy environment or possibly a foster home?

If you support banning abortion then I hope you are ready to be an excellent foster parent to dozens of kids.

I think some well-placed insults can go a long way in reducing bad ideas, as long as the insult is true and comes with factual evidence of erroneous thinking.

I cited killing babies as evidence of deserving to be insulted. Killing is a violent thing.

As for whether I will be adopting children. No, I will not be. And that's not my responsibility.

People who have abortions become bitter conflicted people who create an abhorrent atmosphere at work and during my leasure time, all because they have a hard time accepting that they murdered a baby.

You can't un-murder someone.

Interesting.. Seems like if someone doesn't want to have a child and are pregnant they are going to be emotionally distressed weither they have the child or not. One is probably more short term. Also if you were a person that had empathy for people, and didn't feel the need to controll their very personal choices, you could actually cosole with them and try to help them process what is a very hard choice for everyone.

Kind of selfish to see someone in distress and chalk that up to be an inconvenience to you to have to be around them.

As for the "Your rape baby could have cured cancer" argument. Sure thats possible, but whats more likely is the child will grow up with parents that never wanted the kid and will not receive the nurture that kids need. Not saying this is always the case but I am saying that is more common than the kid growing up to do something world shattering that only THEY could do, no one else.

I was answering your question "How does someone having an abortion affect me exactly"

I didn't mention protecting innocent lives, which is the main goal.

I've been a lot of places. Not as many as I'd like, but more than most. I consider myself to be well traveled.

When I think of the pro-life places that I've been to, "prosperous" is not a word that comes to mind.

The words that come to mind are: "forgotten". "left behind". "hopeless". And, of course, "shithole".

Although, TBH, I don't really see that much difference between the slums of Central America and little midwestern and midsouthern villages.

Sad people with no future, killing themselves with drugs and alcohol. And blaming others for their continued failure to accomplish even the most basic shit. If not for the federal government dumping cash into the rural US, I'm pretty sure most of Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa wouldn't even have electricity.

Yes thank you for proving my point. You would rather burden someone for a lifetime than be minorly inconvenienced even for a moment.

No, you're missing the main reason, which is protecting the unborn. If abortion didn't kill a person, I would bear the slight inconvenience of being around conflicted people.
