I buried an old block in a pot with lavender and one in a pot with a pepper plant. That should be ok I'm assuming?

I just recently planted a couple pots myself for first time but I'm seeing folks bag their pots with a grocery bag. I have pathos planted with them so i can't do that. I'm just going to make sure they never COMPLETELY dry out. π€

My outdoor set up. Gotta build a 4 tier shelf asap.
Close ups of the mexicana pots in the back, pics taken yesterday. Was gonna pick them today but realized the vast majority of the second pot isn't sporulating yet. Might still pick the second pot later tonight.

Ty and in relation to your previous post. I bag my pots, or at least I used to. It's really dependant on your climate. I shouldn't be growing any of this up here in the great white north if you go by climate. I've started planting companion plants. Just grass and clover really.
It was suggested to me in the woodlover thread when I was prepping my Ps cyan and ovoid. Those are the two with black bags and grass. They aren't drying out nearly was fast so I'm hoping that planting grass and clover in my dung lover/field mushrooms will mean I can also keep them uncovered.
There's a pot next to the mexis that you can barely see the edge of in the back that has semperviva and the grass is starting to sprout after about a week.
The pot with the white bag on the ground next to the bucket is cubensis with clover burried on Sunday. The clover is already sprouting.

Nice! I'm in the deep wet hot south so hopefully things workout. I hope to get some Woodlover spawn going by fall cause I hear they like cooler temps.

So, you're in their natural environment. Should be a cake walk for the poop lovers.
Get your woodlovers out asap. They need the time to digest before they fruit

I've got azures and wavy caps I've been propagating on woodchips and fuel/pellets. I was trying to mass as much colonized material as I could before making the outdoor patch. Is now the time to finally put them outside? Second day of summer.

My little out of season azurescens. I buried slightly aged cakes from indoor experiments, and nearly a month later they give me some nice surprises. Unfortunately getting hot and dry so they are making me work to keep them happy.
Recipe of the spawn brick is 50% soil 50% alder shavings/sawdust, field capacity, Β½qt grain spawn. Brick unbroken and buried as whole.
-------------------- Woodlover lover! I am open to questions about wood lovers, I don't know everything, but if you like my posts and have a question, feel free to ask in a PM I do a lot of indoor experiments. I, one day, WILL figure out a surefire method for indoor woodlovers. Nothing is impossible. Indoor Woodlover experimentation Journal Indoor woodlover information - condensed Indoor azurescens

So I'm noticing it may be a good idea to throw in a handful of my fresh WBS to grow a little plant life in my beds?! I will do this.

Iβd call them a yellow variant, still have the dark spores. got them from a member whoβs isnβt all that active, but in their sig they have a pic of normal wine colored wine caps. Iβve grown these in the greenhouse with a very different substrate and they turn out that same color. Very very tasty.

Cubes and clovers on my balcony. These are from a wild print sent to me by a generous forager out in Florida.
And some Enigma why not?

New and improved outdoor set up. So far I poked 3 holes with a screwdriver on the short sides for each tier.

Crosspost. Natalensis substrate fruiting outdoors. Totally different look than the ones that grew inside. Very dense.
