When I made tea, I ripped open some teabags, put the shrooms in, sealed the teabags with a stapler, and boiled the tea bag for about 5 minutes and strained them. I'm pretty sure the potency was unnafected by heat... I've never tripped that hard i n my life.

I agree. I have boiled them for several minutes without problems. I have also dried them at the 140F max temp of my dehydrator without problems. I think the affect of heat on psilocybin is greatly exaggerated...

Ok this post is as far as I read down so some one may have said this but here it goes anyway...

The way I make tea is this:

I take the amound of shrooms I want to trip on and powder them... I use a regular old blender to do this.

Then I bring water to a boil and get a tea bag and shroom powder and place them in a pint jar.

Then I pour the boiling water in the pint jar with the shroom powder and tea bag. I mix this around with a spoon for maybe 3 - 5 minutes.

Then I use my coffee pot filter holder thing and a coffee filter to strain the mixture.

then I drink over 1/2 hr peroid.

the end.

DO NOT BOIL YOUR SHROOMS!
