How do so many folks have it. It blows my mind everyone i personally know in the hobby has had it at one point. Is it possible or probable to eventually get a mutant from TW if I run it a bunch or is it a further hybrid with the mutant PE that is pretty common now a days.

Many have had it because it gained such popularity, and people are happy to share cultures.
It's obviously possible, but the probability is unbelievably low and you couldn't put a real number on it. Someone just got very lucky, it happened by chance.
I could bet money you wouldn't get a similar mutation, even if you ran hundreds, maybe thousands of tubs of TW, otherwise we would have more mutations like enigma and it wouldn't be the first we'd seen something like this. Enigma is unique.

This is on Magicmyco.com (winner of 2021 psilocybin cup)
TWOG - The original TidalWave - Hybrid of P.E. Hawk & B+ w/ hats isos - average colonization and fruiting times (2017) TW2 - Isolated from cloned Tidalwave mutation, "brains" , "coral tooth" like mutated hyphal knots that form potent fruitbodies - fast colonization, slow fruiting (2018) TW3 - Isolation from cloned Tidalwave fruit that had chunky fruitbody with maze-gill like gills - "the pumpkin heads" - has fast colonization and fruiting times and potent fruit if let to mature (2020) TW4 - Similar Isolation from another cloned Tidalwave fruit body same harvest as the TW3 clone but different specimen. This Iso has shown massive potent fruit bodies (2020) TW5 - Isolated clone of outdoor Tidalwave harvest from (2018 - Completed in Summer 2021) TWRG - Special Phenotype of Tidalwave the was bounced back & forth between Doma & Rich G. who is now retired. Rich G. was very intrigued by the Tidalwave. Because of Rich G. we have P.E. & B+ cultures Tidalwave was made from; so after creation Doma got it to the hands of Rich G. Then he sent Doma back prints on typing paper which took awhile to tame and this is the result. Fast colonization and fruiting time . (started 2018 - completed 2021)

Now you can understand why you're confused, tidal wave gas many forms.

Couple Nat test trays (i.e. all that survived cultivator incompetence ), plenty more on the way (properly this time)...
4 days in the FC, 8 days in casing run (from the strain in my sig, should be true to type but showing more overlay on straight cased grain):
A couple days in the FC after 10 days casing run, this jar had some contam but it ate it (the sole surviving G1 of "wavy Nats" pheno, so I'm pumped to see what it produces):
Seem quite happy at 80 degrees so that's a good sign for summer grows.

Wow!! It put out a proper stem to grow that flower!! I've never seen a flowering Venus Flytrap. Thank you! I keep Pinguiculas all over the floor of my grow tent to manage fungus gnats. They flower pretty regularly, but I don't have any pollinators, so I've never found seeds.

If you have a vermiculite layer you might wanna take the foil off.
It could choke out the Jar and cause condensation to build up on the inside of the lid.
