How long would you PC compost for substrate at 240f?

My electric PC goes to 240f on the high setting - 10 degrees lower than the standard PC at 15 psi, but still outperforming the vast majority of electric PCs.
Compost has a million things living in it, yet most people say substrates does not need to be entirely sterile. So how long would I need at that temperature?
Mysticmycologist said in my last thread that he prepares compost for 8 hours in an instantpot on the sous-vis setting. This will be more efficient than that. I plan to load into bags.
Would 4 hours do? 6? Or would that be overkill?
If it only takes 2 hours to kill all the endospores of grain in a standard PC, wouldn't it be massive overkill to cook much longer? Compost has a lot of endospores, but sterile is sterile - how long would I really need to kill everything in the compost? Would it be preferable to not kill everything and to only pasteurize it as opposed to sterilize?

He uses a sous vides because he's pasteurizing not sterilizing. You should not pc compost, you should pasteurize which can be done in 2 hours.

Maybe then I should use the low setting at 2 hours.
How much worse would it be if I did end up sterilizing the compost? Would it perform a lot worse than the pasteurized compost?

Sterilized compost does not perform well, pasteurizing is key.
You need to get a thermometer and have to maintain 155 - 165f for 2 hours.

All
I guess the compost is meant for bulk, if you sterilize it you´d need to spawn in sterile conditions. Spawning open air would bring you all colours in no time

If that's the case, then my PC is too hot because even the low setting is higher than that.
I really don't want to pasteurize compost in the kitchen, so I guess what I'll have to do is use my hotplate and pasteurize in a pot outside.
Unless I could try a hot setting for a short time - I am reading that the concept of 'flash pasteurization' could mean a higher temperature and a shorter time to achieve the same result. So what if I got it to high pressure but only for 10-30 minutes - could this achieve the same result as to cook it longer at a lower temperature?

You should be able to set your low so that it reaches 165f, turn the stove off and put the lid on.
It should maintain temp with the lid closed, check periodically and turn the stove on if needed, you will have to play with it to maintain the temperature.

you will have to make sure that the core get up to temperature. I think flash pasteurization is for liquids. cronicr has posted an easy pasteurization video somewhere.
