What does everyone do for winter storage of aged manure? Mines pretty wet unfortunately. Not sure of the best way to dry it out if necessary. I was thinking of loading it in totes in bringing it inside for the winter. Maybe just leave the lids off. Thoughts?

Anyone use something similar to this for their pressure cookers? I was looking at electrical sterilizers online and they’re crazy expensive! Hoping to be able to use something like these. Any recommendations to something similar. Maybe with 14” burners instead??

Also was thinking about just getting another stove and putting it in the basement but that seems like a pain. Wife wants her kitchen back

Just date people on here dude lol. And I get like 99% of my shit off Amazon. One of my plates came upside down in a sleeve once and of course I dumped agar all over it lol. That was pretty annoying.

New thoughts on senescence? Is it something we should ever really have to worry about? How many times can you actually g2g?

Thank you so much for that. Was going through a ton of posts looking over the topic and didn’t find anything about that.

What's the verdict on cloning clones to further isolate strains? I have an edible culture that's a cross so it throws out a lot of different morphology and I was debating cloning a few favorite fruits.
Kind of hoping someone has some answers to this so I’m going to repost it lol

So all together, it seems like senescence is just something that should have never been brought up on here

.5 grams for 00. You’ll have to get a feel for it. Usually they’re packed pretty damn tight to get that .5

If you have access to a pressure cooker, that’s great. Bring it back to field capacity and load it into an oven bag or Myco bag (whatever’s easiest for you to get) or even jars of course. Throw it in the pc bring it up to pressure, for literally only 3 minutes, shut the burner off and DO NOT rapid cool. Just let it cool slowly.
I would personally stay away from that last option you gave yourself. Especially just sitting in the room with the lid off. Who knows how many things have landed in there lol

Leave the dishes staked. Only the top plate will have condensation then

I’ve heard that too. It’s because it’s so close to being a wild cube still. Worth a shot. You have a print? You don’t need to use the whole thing. Use some now and save the rest for later. I’m curious to see how it goes. Kinda makes me want to get it now haha

I’m curious too! 🤔 I just got some and was just planning on wrapping them in aluminum foil pretty good
Edit: disregard. Didn’t realize I wasn’t on the last page 🤦♂️

For those of you using stir bars in your LCs, what kind of jars are you using? I can only find mason jars with a convex bottom, making them unusable with a stir plate.

I have the media bottles bud don’t wanna modify the lids. The convex on the bottom of the pint jars doesn’t mess with the stir bar or kick it off to the side?

Alright cool. I just bought some more. Had no idea the ridge in the middle were harder to work with. Luckily the new ones I ordered earlier doesn’t have them.

What’s your best psychoactive mushroom book in regards to history, habitat, other notes, etc?
I have this book, which is super dope but pretty old and limited information when it comes to mushrooms. For example, it mentions in the book that the genus Psilocybe is dived into 18 sections and includes at least 150 species. However its most recent source is from 1995! (Page 677)
