The state of my San Pedro garden 3

The bridgesii have been acquired from local nurseries many months back and have been putting out stellar growth since being repotted and given full sunlight.

The TBM (long form) located on the right is a newer addition sold to me via a reddit seller. I'm currently trying to figure out how to get it to push out a pup as the tip was cut off, and has no areoles. The browning on the majority of the base is from being buried so low. It was suggested to me I try and pot it higher up with only a little of the beige part being buried to promote basal pups. I was considering adding coconut water and a kelp solution to my watering regimen to help speed things along. Does anyone have any advice?
2/26/23 - UPDATE
It’s been almost nine months and I’ve learned quite a bit about growing Trichocereus alongside my collection expanding way faster than I anticipated.
Attached below are a few shots from my current collection, enjoy (:

I have TBM. As long as roots are good, dilute fertilizer helps with pupping. Time also helps. Usually a topped cactus will start pushing out a pup within 3 weeks if it's healthy.

It probably wouldn't hurt anything to bury it lower, but it's not necessary. I second that time and patience help with pupping, but kelp and coconut water also help quite a bit to encourage pupping IME.
Some people also swear by a little urea nitrogen for pupping as well, hence all the pee on your cactus jokes around the internet. Too much N can cause weird growth in cactus though, so go light if you go that route.

Man make sure to dry them in the oven or sun, then cut it into pieces, and make tea essentially. Just dump then in a big pot and boil. Reduce the water / hence consitency of the solution. Then just dip a cup in and get the bottom layer as the cactus floats to the top.

Jesus Christ son, this is a conversation about growing cactus, not making tea... there's other places on here to discuss that if you want to
