Colonizing compost
    #2781838 - 06/10/04 03:35 PM (13 years, 5 months ago)

Hey, I was wondering if one could use spent cakes to colonize simple compost bought at a garden store? Anyone ever done this?

Naw, you could do it with spent cakes, so long as they aren't obviously contamned and your compost is cheap.

There're a lot of neglect grows that're essentially "take a bunch of spent cakes, throw 'em in a hole, cover 'em with compost, and forget until they sprout."
