How's mine progressing? Taking a long time to fruit.

Hey folks. I wanted to post a few pics with a few questions!
How's it look generally? Are those little balls of mycellium pins?

The mycellium isn't pure white; it seems to have a tan hue. I think this is from me tilting the monotub to distribute any water which has pooled.
I had previously had this monotub at 70 degrees. Grabbed a seed mat and it's about 77 degrees now.
It's been in the monotub for about 2 weeks. (I mixed the grain spawn and the substrate about 2 weeks ago, as of today).

I would recommend removing the heating pad, as 70f is perfectly fine for cubensis, and the heating pad is likely to cause more problems than it solves. Also, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that tub looks very bacterial in my opinion. That said, Iβm no expert, so somebody with more experience may have better insight for you.

72 degrees Fahrenheit ambient has done well for me with cubes. You gotta remember that the myc will generate its own heat too. Iβm assuming you live in at least 70 degrees of heat right now with it being summer. You could be pushing a little wellβ¦ hotβ¦ temperatures with a heat pad.

Hey, fair observation. The mycelium isn't white. As I mentioned though, I think some of the tan hue comes from particles of substrate resettling atop the mycelium as I tilt the bin to distribute small pools of water. No detectable odor, also.
Any opinions on if those are pins?

I think I see some primordia in there, but itβs difficult to tell.

I've never waited so long before. Hope I get something. This is my first go round with a computer fan setup, etc. Last monotub was very very basic and produced quite well.
Any opinioins? Will I at least get something from this?

Iβm not sure, but if I were you, I would go back to the simple monotub setup.

Yeah brohim. I set up another tub in the old-fashioned manner. I'm reasonably hopeful on that front.

I apologize if that last one came off condescendingly, by the way. That was not my intent. We all get some funky results from time to time, especially when trying new things. I believe in you, bb! Oh, also, instead of angling the tub to spread out pools of water, you can just soak it up by gently blotting the pools with a paper towel.

Ah no. Now worries. Need all the advice I can reasonably acquire.
I haven't done a tub in over a year. I did 2 last year and my yield was sufficient to last until now. However, some of the finer points I haven't learned yet. Basically I left it be other than misting for like a few weeks and had fruit.
Right now I'm thinking about knots > pins > primordia > fruit progression, so I understand more about what I'm seeing.
I THINK I have knots. I dont see anything like a cap yet.
But really, I appreciate the input.
