Getting rid of spent substrate and cleaning tubs

So I finished my first grow. I have 10 shoeboxes of sub to dispose of and 10 shoeboxes to clean. I would ideally like to compost the subs, not sure what to do with them to accomplish that. How quickly do these break down?
Also, I’m on a septic system. Is the coir and verm gonna gum up the septic system? Do I need to wash these outdoors? Not sure how to clean up to get ready for the next grow.

Coir should be okay on the septic tank, but you do not want vermiculite going down the drain.

Definitely wash it outdoors. Don't send fibrous stuff or solids down septic systems.
Just pile the substrate up somewhere out of the way. You may get another partial flush out of the cakes once they are outdoors, so don't bust them up when removing them. It should return to looking like a pile of coco in 4-6 weeks depending on your insect/worm activity levels.

Definitely don't send coir or anything besides poop and toilet paper down to your septic. If you do, it's at your own peril. Fixing that stuff is disastrously expensive. I have broken up subs in a five gallon bucket of water and flushed them down the toilet in the city, but I wouldn't dream of doing it on septic.

Upon reading up some more on septic tanks, yeah don't flush any of it down the drain. It was my impression it would be okay because coir is completely organic matter and would thus decay, like food down your sink, but apparently you should not do that either. Unless you want to pump your septic tank.

I never planned to dump the subs down the sink, but there are bits of stuff clinging to the tubs that needs rinsing. I guess I’ll just rinse with a hose outside first.
