Ridiculously simple juice wine: add yeast to the juice bottle 2

I saw this in a recipe online and while I at first thought it was stupid, now that I go over it again it looks so simple and effective that I've changed my mind. It might actually be great.
The simple idea is the following: the grocery store has already done your work for you as they sell most juice in sealed containers that are already flash-pasteurized. The simple 'tek' is to add yeast to the bottle and ferment.
I'm trying to see much downsides to this, and I can't think of many. The only potential problem I can see is that fermenting in a plastic container might produce off flavors; but if the juice doesnt taste bad, the juice wine might not.
This 'tek' is simple because it eliminates the need for specialized fermenting vessels or sterilization. I doubt the fact that it is only flash-pasteurized would prevent a good ferment or cause too much contamination. To me, it seems like it'd work. Adding of the yeast could be done in an SAB for even more safety - I'm not sure if it's neccesary.

This person has done just this and added champagne yeast to a fruit juice bottle. But they add in a specialized equipment called an airlock to the lid.
How necessary would this special 'balloon' lid be? It seems to defeat the simplicity of the tek. What if I just unscrewed the lid a tiny amount instead?

You need to release the gas to help aid fermentation and keep the bottle from exploding from too much pressure.

When yeast gets active it produces a "krausen". 1-5 inches of foam. I would recommend moving it to a larger container, or it will "blow off". And top with an air lock. Might as well get one designed for fermentation while you are at it.
Edit: That said, I understand the desire not to buy any of that stuff. If you use a 2nd container and air locks you probably want sanitizer... For the simple method just pour off some juice to make space for krausen. Brilliant!

You can get silicone lids for canning jars that just have a nipple, usually advertised for pickling. Those will work and aren’t expensive

Yeah, that's an easy way to make a decent drink.
Couple things to note, make sure there is no preservative in the mix. Ascorbic acid can be listed as a preservative and is acceptable, but things like sodium benzoate or potassium sorbate will absolutely prevent your yeast from fermenting the fruit juice's sugars. Secondly, you can add some extra sugar or honey to your juice to boost your ABV (i.e. fortify the end product). Dry wine or champagne yeast is the way to go on this sort of operation, I like Red Star's Premier Classique (formerly called Montrachet) for my dry ciders.
If you don't want to buy a proper airlock, you can put a regular party balloon over the bottle's opening with a needle or toothpick pushed through it. As the balloon inflates from the CO2 produced by the yeast, it will expand just enough to allow gas to escape around the needle, but will contract around the needle to prevent outside contaminants from getting in otherwise.

ive made ribena brand wine multiple times , with any juices or concentrates just check the ingredient to make sure no artificial sweeteners have been added , i boil the juice for about 20 mins which drives off most of the preservatives and ive never had any problems getting a fermentation started by doing this (you can also improve it a lot by adding a cup of strong black tea for its tanin content ) and some yeast nutrients to help it along.
* the balloon airlock tip posted above by geo is a great tip.

Or find a diameter of tube that fits your bottle and do this :

Also, Airlocks are just as cheap as a bag of balloons

You should try making Pruno... It's the best.

I did a similar thing once but with the tube going into seperate bottle with a little water, your method looks better though.
