Shenandoah

Anyone ever listened to the song Shenandoah, by Bill Frisell? Its a great song, no lyrics, but very mellow and beautiful. I would suggest it while tripping, i have floated off into space a few times when tripping and listening to this song. Peace.

garcia & grisman (i think) did a nice version - acoustic instruments on "shenandoah" (with garcia singing the lyrics) & flowing into "brahm's lullaby" (from his 2nd symphony) --- very nice stuff...

Naw. I'm assuming that it's an instrumental version of the folk classic "Shenandoah" -- I've heard that done as an instrumental sometimes. The actual song has lyrics...

o/~ Oh Shenandoah, I long to see you ... o/~

I really can't remember most of it, since it's been a dog's age since I last listened to it. For some reason, I can't get the damned RM file to play.
