Masala Chai Tea is the best stuff ever. What you need is.

Fresh Ginger Whole Cardamom Whole Cloves Star Anise Black Pepper Corns Cinnamon Sticks Whole Allspice Nutmeg (fresh ground) 12 Black Tea teabags
Measure the amount of filtered water you need with the pitcher your going to put this in and add an additional bit for drinking right away. Pour into a crock pot, add the spices and put on high for 8 - 10 hours. Steep the black tea bags in the crock pot for 15 minutes at the very end. The smell is intoxicating.
You can serve this hot or cold, sweetened or not. Any way you serve it it's going to be great. I do mine with sweetened condensed milk.
Now you can experiment with your taste on the measurement of each ingredient. I sometimes like to add more peppercorn depending on what I'm eating. I also like lots of Cardamom and clove in mine. I'm trying it this time with a bit more ginger than usual. It's always good however you make it.
While you wait just enjoy some TACOS!

Spiced Cranapple and Ginger Cider
2 cups quality apple cider 3 cups water 1 cup cranberries 1 apple 1 cinnamon stick 2 star anise 4 cloves 8 allspice berries 2 inch chunk ginger
Peel and slice the ginger, cut some of the cranberries in half and put all into a sauce pan. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes and reduce heat to low, simmer for 15 - 20 minutes. Add some honey if you like.

Anyone else live in the frozen midwest?

Favorite winter time drink for me is a smoky scotch with an ice cube or two.

Warm Apple Pie
This one is a real winter treat. It's hearty, healthy and full of flavor.
1 1/2 cup Whole milk 1/2 tsp. Nutmeg 1/2 tsp Cinnamon 1 1/4 Cored apple 2 tbsp. Rolled oats 1/2 tsp. Maple Syrup
Blend all of these ingredients together and heat on low till hot, stirring often.
If your drink gets a little thick from the oats just add some more milk, about a quarter cup should do.

I love Spruce tips tea with honey in the winter. But they need to be collected green in autumn and dried.

That sounds fantastic right now. I donβt have crown royal, but I have a few other bottles of whiskeys and scotches I could substitute with. I might try to make one with some whistlepig piggy back
