Everything in its Right Place
    #2780943 - 06/10/04 09:41 AM (19 years, 10 months ago)

My friend bought 2 Radiohead CDs yesterday: OK Computer and We Might be Wrong. I never really liked Radiohead... Until...

Right now. Setting: Computer class. He has We Might be Wrong playing in the drive. Then he says:"Listen to that dude, you're gonna trip out". So, I proceed to listening the song, and

The voice is totally out of this world, the musicians are totally, extremely AWESOME. I never thought Radiohead was so good. I already saw a videoclip of Radiohead where there was a guy in a forest who put on a  trenchcoat and turned into a tree, I don't remember the name of the song.

My friend told me he wants to try mushrooms this summer with me so he can see what listening to Radiohead while tripping is like. I'm pretty sure he's gonna have the time of his life.

I'm talking about the CD "We Might be Wrong" that was playing in the drive, the song I listened to was "Everything in its Right Place"

Sorry about my non-elaborated post  :smirk:

I used to not have much of an opinion of radiohead a few years ago, then i heard kid A and amnesiac and then had a newfound love for them and all their older shit which seemed so much better in light of their new stuff.
Went to see them live a few months back, and gotta say was one of the best concerts ive been to. My memory is fucking awful aswell, whats the name of their most recent album? I had it but now i cant find it and im ahhh fuck it.

The first time I heard that song, it was on repeat for around 15 minutes before I noticed.

GREAT song.

If you like that song....go and get the Kid A cd! Listen to it start to finish, preferably high as a kite

radiohead is great. gotta listen with good headphones to pick up on everything they throw in there. although it may sometimes be viewed as depressing when tripping, its amazingly beautiful and i usually wont trip w/o listening to floyd, radiohead or tool. get their discography cause its all pretty damned good.

what's even more amazing about that band is how they pull it off live. I saw them during their ok computer and insomnia shows, just superb on every level. their guitarist (don't know his name) is a sonic architect in every sense of the word.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Dude that song is really good. I like radiohead but I've never bought their albums or anything. The only problem with that song, everything in its right place, is its too short.

Yes Radiohead put on the best show of any concert I've been to!

(Jonny Greenwood is guitar and does all those pretty effects live!)
