i think with PF and hippie, it is the way that they respond to criticism that has made them so many enemies. there is no question that their contributions have been huge for the closet grower.

ok, ok, I can except that. see I am trying to find out why so many people dislike them so much. I guess you answered that. sorry you had a bad run in with them. I have personally not, but then again I don't criticise them either.

Hey taz, 'Hippie3' LOVES to push buttons, I his SUTTLE way... he LOVES to piss people off, wilst making it look like the other person is overreacting to nothing.
For example... take the recent 'difference between cakes and harvest' thread....
hippie says 'hoax? you should choose your words more carefully'
and THEN goes on to say "...just because you ""FAILED"" where others succeded" now hippie has CAREFULLY chosen the word ""FAILED"" instead of..."just because the 'flunk-tek' hasn't worked for you..... ". This was his strategic way of pissing someone off because your hero 'PF/hippie3/emetheus' LOVES to troll the fire when he sees the chance.
Anyway, this has nothing to do with cult, so I will leave it there.
do a search on 'hippie3' at DD or shroomery.... should answer your questions.

Who dislikes PF and Hippie? Umm.. the only person I can think of is Ryche Hawk. Everyone else pays their respects in their own way, which is usually by USING the PF tek.

If anyone dislikes PF or Hippie it's because of something they did. It's not because they're underrated, unappreciated or underappreciated.

Like I've said before, I'm forever grateful to PF for his achievements. As for Hippie, his additions to the world of psilocybe cultivation are undeniably evident and helpful. BUT, they aren't people I could imagine myself having a beer with at the bar. And who are you, or anyone else, to say that I'm unappreciative because I think they can be assholes?
