Your first grow looks worlds better than my first grow did.
Got an update pic? I'm rooting for your progress and want to see your babies grow.

What exactly do I need to do.
I understand the dunking part to re-moisturize the cake...there's plenty of videos on that but what do I need to do with all the pins.
Do I cut out all the pins right down to the substrate including the little fluffy clouds at the base of the pins....Or do I just remove the the little pins, leave the clouds and re-hydrate.....or just leave everything and re-hydrate
I'm really fucking confused about what to do and I spent the last 2 days looking on what to do but there are no videos what so ever on this subject.

When you harvest, harvest everything at the same time.

itβs usually not worth it to wait for the other mushrooms to βgrow in,β they typically just stay small ime

Its not worth that little bit of extra weight for the hassel. Only time I harvest in batches is if I'm taking prints off certain fruits and others have opened the caps first.

the corollary to this is that you should leave any pins if you harvest a bunch of larger shrooms on a multispore (non-clone) grow. They're fine to leave, will grow in next flush, and it's a waste to pluck pins that will be shrooms in a week.
With MS grows, it's sometimes hard to define set "flushes", clones give more "all at same time" flushes.

Ok, so I removed the top layer of pins using a pair of scissors. Then I read that you should soak it for about 1 hour for every inch of cake. So I soaked it for about 4-5 hours and used another tub and some weights to push the cake down.
Everything went good and the cake is still one big piece.

sounds like you should be fine. i usually just do a few heavy mistings after harvest over 2-3 days & keep it moist with pretty solid success

Iβm a big fan of the heavy misting (point of pooling water) 2-3 days after a flush method. Any pools left after the 3rd day gets soaked up with a paper towel. This way you donβt have to mess with sub breakage and you can leave the liner on mostly intact. Hereβs some examples of 1st and second flushes with heavy misting

It gives you a lot of control and prevents the sub from being waterlogged; itβs easy to see when the sub stops absorbing water and itβs locked and loaded for the next flush

Oh hell yeah! Looking muuuch healthier. Nice lil cluster blooming in the middle there, too. Well done, sir.
