Bacterial?
    #27809977 - 06/07/22 05:55 PM (2 years, 7 months ago)

Would the tub being bacterial cause early fruits but so many knots? Gracias! :mushroom2:

I’m not sure about that, but it does look awfully dry in that tub. You might want to give it a bit of a spritz, and maybe consider partially plugging those holes with some polyfill or some micropore tape.

OK thanks! My cam sucks so it's hard to tell, but there has been a layer of droplets across the surface since colinization. The holes have been uncoverd 12hrs, I uncovered them when I noticed the pins for more FAE, but I will cover with micropore.

Oh, if the droplets were still there I may have erred in my assessment of things. Hopefully I didn’t steer you wrong!

Was this at field capacity when you made it? It shouldn't be this dry for the 1st flush. Your coco coir should not look light brown like that. It needs water

Give that thing a heavy misting over the next 2 days and soak up any water that pools with a paper towel or kleenex.

Definitely cover any holes that are directly above the substrate.

Also trim back any liner that is laying on the surface.

You’ll need to provide better pictures to get help. The surface and the wall look dry but you’re saying that isn’t true. Looking at the picture I’d be spraying the surface, taping all the holes and closing the lid.
