That is 100% mold.
The mushrooms are fine if they themselves aren't moldy. Dry them good on a dehydrator or make a liquid extract if you're really worried about it.
In any case though, pick them fruits and throw that nasty shit out.

That’s what’s called trich my good sir. Those spores are now potentially everywhere in your house circulating and waiting to latch onto your next grow. Pick the shrooms and toss that shit outside ASAP

Personally I'd toss the whole thing, mushrooms and all in the dump. Sorry. The mold you can see, but the thing that allowed the mold to eat your mycelium you can't see. Take care of your liver and your brain.
Take a whiff of that tub when you open it and tell me you should eat anything out of there. It is worth it to have clean healthy sacrament.

Hi,
Since I have not started a grow yet, can you tell me what that green mold looked like at start and how it became green? Thanks!

Usually trich starts out bright white then starts turning green over the next couple/ few days.
Check this out on the common contams. It will help you identify problems as they arise. Contam forum
Usually it is there because of an improper sterilization cycle. Sometimes you can introduce contams at inoculation so it is recommended to flame sterilize your needle and tools before inoculation and to use a SAB.
Edit: Bujjhati I'd pick those mushrooms and boil them for tea. That will kill any trich on them.

100% agree with that, Nichrome. Its far to easy to just grow more.
I feel like when people ask though that they already have intentions of consuming them regardless. A little bit of mold in small quantities wont hurt anyone (Its in the air and on foods already) but its definitely not great to go out of your way to ingest it. Just my thoughts.

Not true. Unless your entire house is a filtered lab there is mold spores in the air already. Trich on substrates happens from a primary source like dirty spawn which is already weak - allowing molds to take hold. Or from a dirty culture & spores or improper grain sterilization. Clean fully colonized spawn is resistant.

Hi,
Hypothetically: if I had 24 brf jars and realized 4 of them had contamination, leaving only 20, but I did not realize one more had contamination, and dumped them all to a bulk substrate, would that one contaminated jar destroy my whole tub? What if they were all Puerto Ricans? Thanks!

Hypothetically you contaminated the whole thing with one bad egg yes.
I like to suggest that people don't break up cakes when they BRF to bulk. You can just lay them all on top of some field capacity coir and cover with an inch of field capacity coir. Like a sandwich. Don't leave any gaps. Fill in the holes between the cakes. It speeds up time to fruiting and anything that is very likely riding in most cakes stays put as an isolated problem in that cake and is not spread around homogeneously throughout.
Swollen lymph node compared to a full body infection. Let the nodes do their job. Go with nature as you are nature by nature.

They're fine to eat like they are, just make sure you remove any damaged tissue from the fruits if there is any and fully dry them before storing them. Wash your tub with soap and water and it will be ready for reuse.

Normally I throw about 30-40g in a pot with about 1cup of water. I usually add a tea bag and some honey afterwards for taste.
Boil it for about 10 minutes then take it off and let it steep for about 10 minutes. If you can wash your tea pot out really well you can use it no problem. I just use a little pot. You can double or tripple this rough recipe and freeze any left over liquid and use later.

Yes 30-40 wet grams = about 3-4 dry grams.
Yes you can make it as you go. You will just want to dry them out first.

I was going to say 30 or 40 dry would be insane. Omg. Lol
🏃
You can let the liquid cool and mix it with pretty much anything you want. I like to use powdered kool aid or powdered pink lemonade to cutt it.
