Mist maker?
    #27802396 - 06/02/22 08:08 AM (2 years, 7 months ago)

I'm setting up an growtent.
So I'm currently looking for an mist maker. My tent is only 2*4feet (height is 6feet)
So I hope an 3-5 head will work?

The thing I'm unsure about is what models that is good?

So what model do you guys use? And what's the best features with it?

I hope to  get help here, really would appreciate help with this.
Google didn't help much.

The best model is a spray bottle or properly having field capacity on your substrates so you don’t have to worry about it

I think you'll find very few here use such things for actives. This is the monotub stronghold.

The best way to grow actives in a small tent is to keep it STUFFED FULL of substrates, preferably cased, with daily mistings.

Then you don't need any humidification or automation.

I wanted to post this in another part of this forum. Unfortunately I'm just to new here to be able to post there. So I thought I might try to give it a shot here.

I also know there is other threads here about this subject. But they where old and technology is always improving.

Thanks anyways

dont do it bro. i fell into the same trap. my humidifier just sits in the closet gathering dust. you really dont need tech for the fruiting stage, just some practice. if you want to get fancy invest in the first half of the process, get good reusable petri dishes, a quality PC, a flow hood, that kinda stuff. if you take care of your grain spawn it will take care of you, its all down hill once the sub is in the tub

I use a hand held steam cleaner. Just pull the trigger when you need mist.

I use a 3-head for the same size tent you just described and it's great. A 2 minute on-cycle fills the tent thickly with fog. Having said that, I only use the tent for pans/tamps/exotics - I have best luck with cubes in standard monos and shoeboxes. They don't need a tent and it's not worth the trouble or expense if cubes is all you want to grow.

No I'm planning to grow other stuff also in my tent. Gourmet for sure. And some veggies also sometimes.

Thanks for your reply, with customs and fees It's to expensive to order from Us unfortunately. Or I would have bought an 3head from them.
