3g (P. cubensis) is the most I've ever ingested. Not exactly a heroic dose, but nothing to scoff at. I got a lot of stomach irritation though. I want to try 4g, but I'm concerned about getting sick to my stomack and puking. I felt as though I would feel much better if I had puked when I ate the 3g. Has anybody ever tried eating 2g, then eating another 2g half an hour later or something? Did it reduce nausia? Did it lower the potency of the trip?

there's definitly lots to see at more than 6 grams.
my most ever was 14, and i've done 8-9 a few times.
way past 6 i say.

Vision Quest, don't worry about puking.
My cat claims that it is no big deal when tripping, even when puking up pure black tannin filled mimosa tars during an ayahuasca session. Puking can't be called fun in any situation, but afterwards... you feel better.

In the past, I've wandered anywhere from 3-5.5 grams without an MAOI and 2-3 while on an MAOI. The only difference I've noticed is a longer peak and a little less time to get in a totally psychedelic mindset (hear colors, etc). The quantitative differences were just about nill, as basically the visuals were the same and the body high was equivalent to a 3 grammer.
Maybe there's some sort of ceiling I keep touching, but yet to break through. Higher doses just extend the trip and make it harder for me to sleep afterwards.
On the other hand, that extra fifteen minutes of peaking may make the difference between a simply good experience and an earth shattering one. Since I do trip so much (Every other week consistently) I usually find something new to do (ie going to the movies or the lake) instead of sitting in the same apartment, so it becomes a lot harder to notice the subtle differences between dosage weights becuase I'm always in a new environtment.

Try taking it with orange juice that kills the awful taste and quiets the cramps somewhat. The stomach ache does go away, so just ride it out.

i try to dose as much as my stomach can handle. i tried to eat 9 grams at castlewood canyon a couple weeks ago and i was so pissed off because i threw up right as the peak was about to hit. usually ill eat at least 5 grams if the caps are open and about 3 to 4 if not.
**and for the cramping, i smoke a fat bowl when i cant take the wierdness anymore, then your trip just explodes around you........... i cant wait till wednesday.
