casing layer for APE ?

ive knocked some jars up of some APE  , would you guys suggest using a casing layer with APE, if so what ratios of coir peat and lime has been said to work best ,also what thickness should be added
using large monotubs ,

Most cubes will benefit from a casing but certain ones like PE usually blob without the use of one (unless you use a 2” thick top layer via P9’s method)

A lot of ppl do a 50-50 mix of peat and verm but I prefer more peat @ 60-40.  Here’s how I prep the casing.  I haven’t done ape before but based on how long it takes to pin, I’d probably use an inch thick casing put on at 100% colonized.  I’ve done lots of PE tubs though
