Using Fungifuel.com Enviro-Bags

I was wondering what kind of flushes I could expect from the 1.2lb enviro-bags at fungifuel.com. I was also wondering when it would be okay to open the bag, because I would like to get out the aborted primordia early, and pick the mushrooms before they get too big.

Hmmm,

Doesn't seem like the way to go for me. Fruiting from grain like this without any casing layer won't give good yields. I might be wrong but my quart jars invitro attempts with grains were all pretty useless.

If you don't mind paying the price for a bag like this, it looks like pretty good for inoculating spores and growing myc. Shouldn't have any contam problem but what I would do once 100% colonized is removing the grain from the bag and casing it with coir.

*Then*, I would expect at least an ounce (dry) out of it.

.fs.

They work, but in here, we call them MycoBags, because MycoBag spends advertizing $$$ to keep The Shroomery online and fungifuel doesn't.
