Goneblue, just put the cakes directly on the perlite and wait, it can take up to 2 weeks to pin. Fluffy cakes mean high humidity and that is good. Keep them warm, give them air.

dude, just give it some time, mine was just like that and the next day it felt wet. It takes I think 4 to 6 hours to start working the way it should. I think your doing just great, just becareful and don't over do it with the water.

yeah go ahead and dunk em leave em in there for at least 12 hours, I would say in your case about 24 would be better. be vary gentle when handling cakes. sometimes you can bruise them by holding them annd stuff. It may take a couple of days for the blueing to go away. Patience grasshopper. Dude your doing great. private me and I can give ya any tips you want. If I post to much then that little kid herbertd8 will come around and start flamming me. good luck and let me know how ya fair. I'll help you anyway I can bro.
