That’s very nice! 4 BRF per shoebox? What did you inoculate the BRF with?

Its 6 BRF cakes but i had 220ml jars and a pretty thick verm barrier. So about 1 quart of actual spawn per shoebox.

I inoculated the cakes with a self made spore syringe from a print taken from my last grow. The original spore print came from a trusted vendor and they are supposed to be ordinary cubes (variety: Cambodians).

It was great fun and gave me 975g wet for the first flush

Superb flush! Is that Playa Uvita? If not, that looks like a pretty special variety cube

It`s just my second variety of cubes so I didn`t even recognise that they look special. They looked slightly different when I grew them on cakes in a water tub. Documented it here.

First flush of the month on a few tubs. I think I'll have my wife give me a hand turning these into chocolates, gummies, tincture and maybe capsules. I just did 1k so I don't think I need anymore capsules for a while. I've already got who knows how much stashed away. I think it's time to play around with them. I think I might pull out a few ounces and make some blue honey. My wife just brought home a bunch. She's reconfiguring some of the hives. So that's something I've been interested in doing. :mushroom2:

I remember not too long ago, being excited about my first flush, less than a gram dry. Now I'm struggling to figure out what to do with having more than I'll ever consume  a fun problem.

Psychotrotia Viridis (the most commonly used DMT containing plant in ayauaska ceremonies) var. Nexus and DW08 from herbalistics.
Leafs sections propagated in Tupperware and moved to cloner with 1/4 strength clones solution.

The Nexus variation allow it to be grown in hardiness zones up to 8b! Meaning not only is it capable of growing in less than warm subtropical environments, but also may survive in daily cool climates like Oregon!

These plants should grow much much faster than say mimosa, although they have about a tenth of the tryptamine content, ide bet they grow beyond 10X faster, especially if you propagate a bunch ahha.

Will happily send free leaves once they are available.

Holy shit, that means I would ALMOST be able to grow them in my climate zone. Had no idea they were so hardy! Im sure we could breed them to select for even better cold-hardiness tho.

Nice! Well done  I’m looking to do my first real shoeboxes soon too.

Pic tax, been trying to fruit this bastard for over two weeks in a shoebox now and finally got a sign of life apart from fluffy mycelium!  Still a loooooong ways from a beautiful canopy like yours though 😅

Very new to cultivation, but I'm taking the leap with agar. I just finished pouring a batch following PGT's EZ 123 recipe. I plan to inoculate soon with a syringe, and carefully. Just trying to read as much as possible to avoid any unnecessary and costly mistakes. Looking forward to the journey and those I'll meet on the way!

Exactly how I started doing agar, can’t go wrong with PGT. When doing syringe to those agar cups, all you need is a single drop from the syringe, good luck 👍

I'm loving all the noobs absolutely kicking ass on here lately. Shows what happens if you read and follow the teks (to the letter), the ones written by the old heads. (I didn't do that until I was here nearly a year.)

Whereas on Reddit, the noobs grow mold, then sit around and bitch about how "Shroomery is a bunch of old people who aren't open to new ideas." (and then give 1500 upvotes to 4 anemic shrooms growing out of potting soil and candy)

I guess Old > Mold.

Here’s my harvest from today. A shoebox of GTs ready to go.
