Like he said the alot of fish poop will raise the levels of nitrates in the water,,,, I dont know if putting cow pies in the water would do the same thing? if thats what you mean?

Do you really need more Nitrates?
To increase the number of shrooms all you have to do is get into some nice compost. Shrooms love their shit.
