PF tek to bulk substrate

Hello guys,
I'm new to growing mushroom and this month will be my first attempt
I wanted to do first a complete PF tek but then, realized that i could use those as spawn to bulk substrate in a monotub.
I have prepared a monotub of 30 liters and i have 4 jars of BRF cakes (240 ml per jar approx.).
I would lile to know if those jars are enough for a 30 liter monotub ?
If so, what would be the ratio i'm using ?

I’m guessing people will say use shoeboxes if you only have 4. Like maybe two shoeboxes…

That's for just one shoebox.
Maybe the 30 liter box has similar floor space. What's the dimensions of the box? Do you have shoeboxes?

Typical shoebox is 6 quarts, that’s 5.7 litres so it’s comparable. Like Goatrider said, 4 cakes per shoebox. Hey Miraw, do you have colonized BRF cakes or are you going to start some?

I do have colonized BRF cakes. They will be soon 100% colonized. Maybe in a week.

1L is 0.95qt, you can count -1qt for every 20L so basically the same.
@OP: Using BRF cakes as spawn is very viable. I used to do it before I got a PC and I had 2 or 3 successful grows in a row with nice pinsets and pretty good yields for BRF.

Thats a little over twice as much surface area as a std 6qt shoebox, so 8-10 cakes would be appropriate along with 4-5 qts/L of coco/verm.

Personally, I've found success using Eatyualive's super cake mix in pint jars being utilized for Lazy Mofo Bag Tek. Went from 8 half pints to 1.25 quarts for each. Then thrown into individual shoeboxes.
The average yield for the boxes for the first 3 flushes was 290 grams wet and they lasted for at least 6 full flushes in average room conditions. Dubtubbed.
It took a bit longer, but good things come to those who wait

Just a thought to spice up your life:
First time, and you are about to have some fully colonized jars without contamination. Bravo! If you want to eventually learn the ins and outs - I'd fruit 1 or 2 jars as cakes, and the rest in boxes, or just all as cakes for now.
You are currently looking at success! You can open the jars and get top fruits without any extra trouble or much risk. Everything else adds much more fun and exploration though.
So if you're counting on a specific harvest date, or just doing this for fun, whatever will all depend on what you do. But fruiting a PF TEK cake is an excellent learning experience to get your eyes down in the battle field and look at what it's doing. The monotubs and boxes are much more hands off and do their thing, which is the point, but if you're curious at all... put perlite in your larger tub and plop a cake on some foil.
Otherwise, keep it up! You wont fail with pf tek to monotubs with everyone else's advice here... They will set you straight on box size/spawn ratio... I just wanted to add some confusion, because it's the weekend baby!!

I’m with The TimelessDon. Keep a couple of cakes intact. It does work.
