Hi everyone! its me again! just a week ago i've been asking how to germinate, and here i am: process was catastrophic, but it worked
Question is: I saw some really great photos of culture from Stro, and i've been wondering (reading) how to take photos like that? Stro's Cleaning and Isolating On Agar: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/18430998#18430998
Bonus: burn your eyes with my pouring technique (2.5% agar (too much for me), 1% sugar, 7% starch). Did my best to pour precisely at 47C (116F). All too dense.
These are the healthiest. No contam so far.

These ones are empty control agar. No contam so far(4 days), and very surprised.

Clear sign of contamination:

And this one is actually a QUESTION: i see strings are stretched even to the plastic, and newer photo(with little dots on the top side of petri) its culture stretching UP and attaching to the top. Is it contam or just very aggressive mycelium?

can't really tell what's going on in those last pics but myc can def stretch over glass/plastic like that. my natalensis cultures go crazy if i let them get a bit overgrown. i've had it happen with cubes too.

So, the last one revealed itself within about 36 hours, looks like green mold.
