Fruit a bit stunted and wet/slimy looking
    #27792950 - 05/25/22 08:48 PM (2 years, 7 months ago)

Newbie to growing. I noticed on the second flush with this tub that the fruit seemed to stall with the veils dropping on them quite small. Could this be from getting a bit of moisture on the caps accidentally from misting the side of tub? Also noticing bit more fuzz around base of fruit as if maybe not quite getting enough FAE, was thinking more holes modded next one, possible also not fanning enough with just once a day?

Also, couldn't see obvious match with contams but I get little redish spots where water droplets have fallen and evap off the surface. It doesn't spread or seem to affect, I thought it might just be something in the tap water like a mineral or chem the mycelium is reacting to.

Grow is a Maz first flush.

As i assume this is multispore,
it´s quite good for a 2nd flush.

A little fuzzy feet is nothing to worry.
Ime it´s also genetics sometimes.
I got fuzzy feet growing fully open air.
You got top holes short side on your tub?
That brings air movement into your tub.
Also if you feel the need, you can poke some holes to the micropore
for a little more passive air exchange.

Forget about fanning,
this way you ruin your microclimate and conditions.
Have a look here.
That´s all you should look for after spawning to your tub.
No fanning, nothing.
Just mist, if moisture evaporated from the surface.
And please mist the surface, not the walls.
Plastic doesn´t grow from watering
Cubes don´t mind a fine misting from high above,
i even bet they love it.
Just no standing water on caps as bacteria starts to work against them.

Don´t stick the liner to the tub.
You want it to shrink with the substrate.
Your sub shrinks from consolidation and maybe a bit from loss of water,
therefore creating gaps to the sides,
resulting in perfect conditions for sidepins.

In the end these look pretty, good job
Take some prints
