4 weeks no pins * 1

Hello new member but certainly not new to this site. I am seeking advice for 12 BRF cakes (6 B+ and 6 F+) birthed about 4 weeks ago but not showing any signs of pinning. Colonization was a little slow taking 4 weeks and consolidated for 10 days. I mist 2-3 times per day and fan 6+ every day, stable 73 degrees. They were dunked for 24hours after birthing and rolled. Sitting in a standard SGFC (1/4" holes every 2 inches all 6 sides) sitting on foil with 4" perlite. 6500k LED on for 12hrs and tub is 4" off table. No bruising or obvious evidence of contamination. They smell just like mushrooms and one cake grew a few shrooms over a week ago which were harvested. I recently added a layer of more fine verm on the tops as the verm used for rolling was fairly coarse. I have spent HOURS seeking advice on this site and I am either doing everything that is being suggested or doesn't apply to my scenario and losing hope I'm going to see anything. This is my first attempt but I followed the tek to the the T. I am clearly missing something and despite my extensive research just can't seem to figure it out so I thought I would inquire directly for some more experienced advice. I have another 12 jars colonizing much faster. Should I just give up or is more time warranted? I'm also considering maybe using the cakes for shoebox spawn but not sure if it's worth it if they've already sat for 4 weeks and doing nothing. Thanks!

Interesting. I sure would've liked to see it before birthing. Why are you fanning it? Absolutely pointless and probably doing more harm than good. They really don't like to be fiddle fucked with. Same reason people can't grow a damned weed. They love them to death.  Have you looked into doing a water tub?

Fanning for FAE per the teks but around 2 weeks I went about 4 days not fanning or misting and didn't see anything different. When I started up again about 3 days later I saw about 4 pins on one cake which took over a week to grow fully.

As for the birth, they were fully consolidated (completely thick white and smelled strongly of mushies). After 100% colonization I gave it 10 days before birthing and one jar of the B+ had a single in vitro pin which I accidentally knocked off during the rinse and dunk. That was the same cake that recently gave me the few pins.

Honestly just regretting not doing a monotub but the cakes seemed like a fun place to start...
