Build my own scale?

Well I thought I would give it a try and I was curious if anyone knows any sites with good info????

You see I know that a canadian nickel is 4 grams and a penny is 2.5 so how hard could it be to weight some shrooms?????

I saw one thing that looked alright, a ruler scale, but I lack the ruler.......and if I had some money I would buy a scale.

Also, anyone with a mini scale(pen, etc) PM me , I will be making a post in the marketplace forum.

20 bucks on ebay for a digital one........and it came with a 100 gram weight so you can calibrate it..

Yes thats the thing, I dont have 20 dollars. :frown:

And I wont for awhile, but if I could weight "various" things I could get a good scale with the MONEY, see my problem??
:smile: ( and yes I have seen the scales on ebay...and with some money I would buy one)

Oh and by the way.....if anyone has a small pen scale(or small scale like that) they want to trade for some really cool stuff(etheogens) send me a PM and also check out my post in the marketplace forum.

Don't rely on money to weigh stuff, use water
1 ml (= 1 cc) weighs 1 gram. Just measure it out with a syringe

Cool that would help, but I still have to build it.

Although the syringe idea made me realize I wont have to make 2 of those little basket things, I wish I could find one lying around the house, I would scoop it up.

I guess I could use 2 needles to balance, then , attach a basket weight it, and and figure out how the weight of "things" from that.

Dude, get some wire and a stick, pole, whatever. Attach two wires on either side, and then drill a hole through the balance point of the stick, which should be near the center. Put a loop of wire through this, and hang it on a string. It probably will be a little off, so use some more wire looped over whichever side is lighter to balance it.

Now, get two small plastic baggies, and hook 'em on the wires on each end. Check to make sure it's still balanced, and then use one baggie for the substance you're weighing and the other for the reference weights.
