Help Identifying Possible Contamination

I thought this was just normal penis envy mycelium growth at first, but today I noticed its kinda yellow. Is this for sure contamination and if so, would anyone know what kind of contamination it is so I could take measures to avoid it in the future?
It is rye berry inoculated from a spore syringe

You gave the answer with your last sentence. Syringes aren't always that clean to go straight to grains. Clean up on agar first. That's bacterial, and not just a bit. If it gets fully colonized, i'd fruit it right from the bag, for not having recovery time from mixing up.

I see. I inoculated other bags with the same spore syringe and they turned out well, but I guess I just got unlucky with this one.
I like the idea of fruiting them straight from the bag, but what kind of risks would I be running with consuming mushrooms from a contaminated bag like this?

No issues. Just slimy/squishy/rotten shrooms get trashed. I usually boil them fresh for tea. So after proper dehydration and/or boiling they're usually fine. Same for grows with mold outbreaks.

Oh wow, I'm surprised there isn't much risk to it, considering how the reaction I'm used to seeing towards contams are to burn them with holy fire.

Some bacteria or metabolites aren´t the end automatically. But just keep in mind, mycelium gets weakened to a point, while producing antibiotics (metabolites) to fight off bacterial contam. If you make it to full colonization, and mix up the bag for bulk to a tub, your already weakened myc gets an additional recovery time, resulting mostly in other contaminants taking over then.
Just have a look at them, if you get a contam during a flush. If they look like grown off a zombies` head, trash them. I´m pretty sure there´s no shit lead into the fruiting bodies by mycelium. The real danger to me is inhaling decent amounts of mold spores while having a weak immune system.
In the end if you´re worried, always show off some pics. The fam here is responsible enough to tell you what´s safe and what´s not
